Felix Munoz, P.E.

Munoz Engineering Group was founded in 2023 by Felix Munoz. Being born and raised in Brownsville, a small town located at the southern tip of Texas, Felix prides himself on being able to overcome adversity and any challenge that comes his way. Felix's vision was to create a structural engineering firm that prioritized innovation, collaboration, and most importantly, customer satisfaction.

Felix obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Civil Engineering with focus on Structural Engineering both from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He has gained extensive experience working under the best engineers in San Antonio and has also built relationships with architects, contractors, and other engineers along the way. Felix is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Texas and Colorado.  

Felix has extensive experience in the design of many structures such as mild-reinforced & post-tensioned concrete office buildings, single and multi-story concrete tilt-wall retail buildings, pre-engineered metal building warehouse foundations, structural steel framed buildings and wood framed apartments all over San Antonio and nearby cities.  

Felix also has a strong background in structural forensic investigations as he has performed them on countless facilities of high importance across San Antonio's military bases for the Department of Defense/US Department of the Air Force.
