Munoz Engineering Group was founded in 2023 by Felix Munoz. Being born and raised in Brownsville, a small town located at the southern tip of Texas, Felix prides himself on being able to overcome adversity and any challenge that comes his way. Felix's vision was to create a structural engineering firm that prioritized innovation, collaboration, and most importantly, customer satisfaction.
Felix holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio. With over 11 years of experience, he has built strong relationships with architects, contractors, and industry professionals.
Felix is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Virginia. He is also Windstorm Certified through the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), with experience designing structures in high-wind regions within designated catastrophe areas.
His work includes a wide range of project types, such as corporate offices, retail developments, healthcare facilities, industrial structures, and federal projects. He has extensive experience designing reinforced and post-tensioned concrete systems, tilt-wall buildings, metal building foundations, structural steel systems, and wood-framed residential developments.
Felix also has a strong background in structural forensic investigations. He has performed detailed assessments of critical facilities on military bases in coordination with the Department of Defense and the U.S. Air Force.

Project Manager
Dulce is a structural engineer with 11 years of experience in the industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio and plays a key role in managing projects from initial design through construction.
She leads project coordination, working closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to keep projects on track and aligned with client goals.
Her experience spans a diverse range of building types, from corporate offices and industrial facilities to fire and emergency response stations and retail developments. She has also designed hospitality and community-focused projects, including hotels, gymnasiums, movie theaters, and animal care facilities.
Dulce possesses a comprehensive technical background across all major structural materials, including structural steel, tilt-wall concrete, mild and post-tensioned concrete, and wood design. She brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to her work, allowing her to navigate complex challenges and deliver efficient, reliable designs.

Office Manager
Ana plays a key role in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the office runs efficiently. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Arts in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University.
Ana oversees a broad range of administrative functions, including managing internal communications, maintaining organized records, supporting onboarding processes, and managing various office operational tasks.
With a strong background in behavior analysis, she is skilled in understanding people, navigating complex interpersonal dynamics, and fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
Her cheerful personality and approachable nature contribute greatly to team morale, helping create a workplace culture that is both productive and enjoyable.
